sentence correction misery

Post Wed Jan 27, 2016 12:58 pm
Hi,

I am doing pretty well in sentence correction, get most of the answers correct but not by the right approach.I just read the question and choose the answer choice which sounds the best and it's most of the time correct. It's very hard for me to understand whether it's an independent clause/dependent clause or how many clauses/phrases are there in the problem.Kindly guide how to overcome this hurdle so that i can atleast identify how many/what kind of clause.

Hi krishhxa,

You'll likely get more of a response if you post this in the General Strategy Forum here:

http://www.beatthegmat.com/gmat-strategy-f3.html

When you take your CATs, if you're answering most of the SCs correctly, then the method that you use is 'working', so you might not need to do much additional work in that area. However, if you're still getting lots of SCs wrong, then you would probably benefit with some new training materials and lessons.
