Thanks for sharing your profile. You have some impressive work experience that will be the strongest part of your application. Your GMAT is solid but if you are looking for the top 10 it will be a bit low as the avg is closer to 730 these days. I don't think there will be any questions about your ap...

Thanks for sharing your profile. Really interesting and unique profile that should garner some strong interest from MBA programs. Your leaderships and ECs in particular stand out and align well with your good work experience. Your UG GPA is pretty low which will be a concern but if you can land in t...

I think the impact on your career will be largely based off of what you decide you want to do post-MBA. It was unclear from your question what your career goal is. The GMAT is a big aspect of getting into school so you will want to do well there to set yourself up.

I really like your background and I feel like the schools you are targeting will too. You are a little low on the GMAT for some of the top schools on your list but depending on your GPA that may be neglible. Also, given how unique your profile is and career interests I would take a crack at any of t...

I would reach out directly to the career services center at dearborn to get more info on the recruiting numbers. You should be looking for percentage of graduate who go into finance as well as looking at the top employers to determine if there are fin svcs companies at the top of that list. This sho...

Thanks for sharing your profile. You have a nice background and your relative minority status should certainly help. I would aim to get close or hit the average scores for your target schools, which for top 10 programs is around 710-720 these days

Congrats on all of your success you really cant go with any of your options. i would go with Cornell here, they are both fairly even but the prestige factor and alumni network would seal the deal for me. One thing you may also want to consider is quality of life during b-school. Chapel Hill is beaut...

Nope, one typo or even a few will not be an automatic reject the schools really take a holistic approach to making a decision and if you are a strong candidate they will make the decision based on this and not one typo. Good Luck!

I always tell candidates, the interview never goes as well or poorly as you often think. Some interviewers ask fewer questions than other so don't necessarily correlate this. The school will make a holistic decision on your entire package so don't fret at this point because it is out of your control...

Your GPA is ultimately what will really hurt you hear your GMAT particularly as a diverse candidate is close enough in range if you had a good GPA but your GPA is very low so you should retake and aim higher to balance out a bit more

I know it is a bit late but what approach did you choose. I probably would have gone the say nothing route as this seems a bit hard to explain and may come across as making excuses. Hope it went well!

Your GMAT is on the fence for most of these schools as you are a it lower than the avgs at schools like krannert and Kelley. A bit of an improvement on the GMAT and you should have a decent shot at admission

Thanks for sharing your profile. You have a ok GMAT score and a good GPA with some nice work experience. I would target programs between the top 20-40 programs. You want to target programs where your score exceed the avg score by 20-30 GMAT points

Thanks for sharing your profile. I would aim to retake if you think can drag it up a bit more. As you have outlined you are still a bit under the average. Now this is al based on your time and if you think you can pull together a compelling application amidst the additional prep. I think you have a ...
