IMO E for a,b and cwe are getting infinite line segment D again a infinite line segment E only finite line hence is correct a) x can take any value > or < 1 so infinite b) x can take any value <=3 so infinite c)x can take any value >2 or <-2 again infinite d) line can be in ist and 2nd qurd

reqd probability is nothing but to select one out of those 4 who have 1 siblings and to select one out of those 3 who have 2 siblings
it can be done in 4C1 and 3C1 ways
total two can be selected from 7 in 7C2 ways
p=4C1*3C1/7C2=4/7

Actually epitomize , a plural verb, is in agreement with Sherlock Holmes and his famous pipe , a compound subject. yeah true..but there is an exception to this rule if the noun phrases joined by the compound refer to one and the sme person or thing then the verb is singular..... imo the above rule ...

with given parameters we can have
1)8as dia , and 10 and 12 as ht.
or 2) 10 as dia and 8 and 12 as ht
for 1 vol. of tank will be 16pi*10 or 16pi*12
for 2nd it will be 25pi*8 or 25pi*12
maximum vol is when dia is 10 and ht 12
so radius is 5
