Thanks Ilana for the support If you were to read the first statement, there seems to be a contrast between the usage of the two materials used i.e, Wood and metal Where the statement seems to say that a metal was used instead of the wood. But the correct answer seems to say that wood was used but th...

MEaning based SC. !

In an earlier configuration, the crosspiece of the frame enclosing the Mona Lisa is made of beech wood, but now it is fitted with a crosspiece made of metal, thereby stabilizing the painting's poplar support and preventing cracks and warping. Hi, It could one of "those days ".Were you too worked up in the week preceding the GMAT. ? You could have exhausted yourself there. You seem to be doing ok.! I am pretty sure you have the basics covered. Verbal scaled score of 24 indicates a very low percentile and judging by your write up...

Recommendation letters

Hi, I am in some trouble with my recommendation letters since I had been (well lets say : not focused) while I was preparing for my GMAT , and that seems to have affected my perceived credibility. If I were to ask for letter of recommendations from my bosses, I would squander my chances :-) I am in ...

Well I prepared for about three months. I took a lot of tests. My test scores fluctuated. Sometimes I did feel that I had reached a saturation while I was at 650. But then you need a radical change in your approach. I came across thursdays with Ron .The sessions were pretty interesting. In fact I lo...

Hi Prateek I just took the Gmat today. Got a 700. Not too happy however . But one thing is for sure the GMAC, especially on the verbal section, is ridiculously biased towards native test takers. I got almost 17-18 SCs with a lot of questions that had idiomatic errors in them. These errors are easy t...
