I have fininshed the first PR CAT test. Well, just the quant part because an stupid bug on the testing system has finished my test without showing the verbal part. This bug is well known and only happens if you don't start the verbal part inmediately after the quant. So i have scored 46 in the quant...

Hey, i was also trying to solve this good one :)

Why on the statement I we can state that you cannot get a common divisor from 12u = 8y + 12, what about 2 and four?

Well, actually those were the first tests i took -because i was told that were the easiest ones. I tend to agree to that idea; but if you had a 51Q, you must be very happy!. You can apply maybe a 30% of security margin :) I am planning to retake one Princeton now that i have a larger GMAT experience...

okay there is subtle difference between " which cuadrant contains no point that satisfies " and " which quadrant system satisfy the inequity " but makes it almost opposite :) perhaps that difference is why you're confused... anyway, it's a tricky one... I have plotted the graph t...

Vid, TOEFL has nothing in common with GMAT. Maybe you have RC in both, but the TOEFL ones are literally piece of cake compared with the GMAT ones. I took TOEFL a couple of months ago with one week of study and scored 107 iBT with 29 out 30 in RC, but the GMAT is at other level :) have in mind that T...

Hey! i think that practice makes perfect and i am trying to do as many tests as possible, and believe me, it is paying out. I am retaking in 6 weeks after having obtained a 690. thnx to you for posting:) Now i dont understand neither... I think that something is wrong there... probably the question stem is not accurate. According to the explanation, it seems that we are looking for points that don't satisfy the inequation Therefore, no points that satisfy the inequiality ar...

I agree wit Eric.... i did the same with Permutations/Combinations, and many other subjects (such as idioms...). In quant, i'd advice to dedicate most of the efforts to: WORD PROBLEMS, and NUMBER PROPERTIES PROBLEMS. Most of the questions fall in one of these two groups.[/list]

I've tried the picking numbers strategy:

Cuad/x/y/value
I 2 2 -2
II -2 2 -10 <<
III 2 -2 10
IV -2 -2 2

so IMO i'd say (2) II, but i am not sure at all, for picking 1's yields a different result.... what is the OA? explanations?
