A(N) = 10, 13, 16, 19.... then if the sum makes 275 it means that the maximum N = 11 (just try it) and the median is 25 same thing with statement 2, which tells us that the range is 30, which means the last term is 40! so the median is still 25...

I agree with Schumi...A is correct if you look at the "FEWER & LESS" part, but BURN and EMITTING are not parallel at all!! That would be extremely stupid!!

for the first question I would say D, but simply because if such a question comes out at the GMAT, and any of the A - B - C would be correct, then somebody might argue that even E would be correct...so, don't lose time and try with D!
