Best resource for 700-800 level questions?
I'm pretty efficient in the quant section, but I've been having problems with the most difficult questions. I have a few books, the OG, 2013 Kaplan, and some old Veritas books from a friend. Can someone point me to the best place to get additional help with the hard questions?

Think about what would give you the largest volume? Pi r^2 h. You want the radius as large as possible, since it's being squared. But be careful, I made this mistake when I did this question a couple weeks ago. If the side that 12x10 is laying down, the diameter isn't 12, it's 10. So, half of the di...

AWA - Test in 2 Days (sept 3rd)
I've spent all my time up until now working on the verbal and quant sections. A buddy of mind told me that schools don't really care about the AWA section, as long as you get a 4, 5, or 6. Hopefully that's true. He said it's really only testing non native english speakers. Either way, test is Friday...

If #p# = ap3+ bp - 1 where a and b are constants, and #-7# = 3, what is the value of #7#? A)5 B)0 C)-2 D)-3 E)-5 I see that #-7# = 3 means: #-7# = A(-7)3 + B(-7) - 1 and so #7# means: #7# = A(7)3 + B(7) - 1 But now what..... Here's what I did: a(-7)^3 - 7b - 1 = 3 -334a - 7b = 4 -7(49a+b)=4 49a+b=-...

Yeah, this was more for practicing the 700-800 level questions. After doing this with being timed, I feel much more confident on those questions, and have a better understanding on how to do them. Obviously I know the real test is timed, which makes it more difficult. Before on my other tests, I was...

Took a non timed MGMAT CAT test
I'm taking the GMAT in a week. I've taken a few times practice CAT tests, and haven't been improving my score as much as I've liked. I'm pretty gifted in math, but my score wasn't reflecting it, I was missing 90% of the 700+ level questions so I figured I need more practice on the difficult ones. So...

Looking for Difficult Questions
I'm looking for a book or a downloabable list of the more difficult GMAT math questions. The questions I'm getting in the OG and the Quantative OG arn't nearly as difficult as the 700-800 level questions in most of the practice tests. I'm getting close to 75% correct on the 600-700 questions, but mi...

WHy cant the equation be something else?THey are parallel lines and not identical lines? They don't have the same intercept, but that itsn't the question. The question is asking if the SLOPE is the same. If 2 lines never intersect on a plane, they must be parallel. Parallel lines have the same slope.
