My practice scores were in the range of 690 - 730. I'm also a student of the MGMAT Live 9 Session course (which was fabulous) and had...

statement 1: we can rephrase this to x = z - y. there are thus 3 possibilities for the absolute value |x| : (a) if z - y is positive, then |x| = z - y, and will NOT equal y - z (which is a negative quantity). (b) if z - y is negative, then |x| = y - z (the opposite of z - y). (c) if z - y = 0, then...

Of the cameras ordered, 6 were never sold and were returned to the manufacturer for a refund of 50 percent of the dealer's initial cost. W...

Mitch is it possible to ballpark the % value by doing the following? - If all the 60 cameras were sold, then Profit % = 20% If 50 cameras were sold, then Profit % = 0% If 55 cameras were sold, then Profit = 10% (Benchmark) Since, more than 50 cameras were sold, a Loss is NOT possible. Eliminate A &a...

"especially if it has worked well in the past" must modify "course of action". Here it seems to refer to the signs of trouble. Misplaced modifier.

Hey all! I recently learnt another method to tackle this problem! Happy to share: Original time is t New time is 2/3t (8/12) Work = 1 if time is reduced to 2/3, then the rate would have increased to 3/2 -> RT = D -> 3/2 * 2/3 = 1 Thus new machines = 3/2 (Original machines) = 9 additional machines = 3
