I'm thinking the pricing strategy is to encourage folks to buy new books instead of used books since they don't make any money on used books. As you pointed out, buying a new book is a better deal than buying a used book and then having to pay the standalone price for the CAT.

I'm no expert, but I don't see the harm in talking with the FT program and seeing what they have in mind. I doubt you'll be forced to make a decision on moving forward them right then and there. Hopefully an "expert" can chime in. I'd be interested in hearing his/her response, too.

Make sure you factor the palm-vein scanning into your break time between sections. Best of luck. Each time I exit the room, I must retake the palm-vein scan when I re-enter? Please ...

Has anyone visited the school? If so, what did you think of it? I went to an info session at Haas for the Evening & Weekend MBA program a few years ago but have not had an opportunity to visit any classes or even walk around the b-school when students are there. That said, I haven't gotten a go...

I got two different ones actually. They were both yellow boards with graphing lines, but the size of the individual boxes differed. The graphing on my 2nd yellow board had tiny little boxes and it was difficult to see what I was writing. The boxes on the first were bigger.
