Also, is it safe to assume that the score we get on GMAT prep 1 is SKEWED in the fact that so many people have taken it and re-taken it so the average keeps getting bumped up??

Need some advice!
I've take 3 Kaplan CATS as well as the GMATPrep 1 and here are my results thus far
Kap CAT 1 - 500
Kap CAT 2 - 560
Kap CAT 3 - 590
GMAT Prep 1 - 530 Q38% V24% I missed 18 on Quant and 19 on Verbal...
How can I improve my Verbal to get it to into the 35-40% range?

How many can you miss?
Hypothetically to fall in the 600-650 score range..how many questions can you miss on Quant and Verbal? I know most people will say "it depends.." on the type of questions whether its low, med, or hard question type.. But hypothetically speaking on 37 Quant questions...a good, above averag...

Could you please provide some background info on your practice test scores, how long you studied for, and what schools/rounds you applied for?
