I am current Schulich student. I can tell you two things, (One) if you are looking for consulting in marketing then you have to go to Schulich. All major marketing professors are from Schulich, plus at Schulich you get to do a live consulting project called 601, something that Rotman doesnt offer. (...

Has anyone found there to be an actual correlation between GMAT score and performance at B-School? I have just finished my 1st year of an MBA and I found there to be absolutely no correlation between person's GMAT score and their academic performance at B-School. Why are we even taking these tests? ...

There is a similar thread just down the list. I think everyone expressed their opinions there. I don't understand your logic in regards to rankings though. In BW Rotman is ranked 8th Schulich 9th, in FT both schools are within 5-6 places of each other. Other magazines like Expansion (in 2010) ranked...

Quite honestly, if you are not already in the health sector, it will be hard to find job in that field. At the same time, if you are really passionate about something, I think you will make it anywhere. In regards to Rotman is better, I disagree. I think both schools are evenly matched and attending...

The tuition hikes were intended to mainly do four things: (1) Send Asper MBA teams to national and international competitions (2) begin recruiting cessions from abroad (3) Expand career service centre (4) Offer more electives. Once this was under way, they planned to expand MBA program. I'm not sure...

Hi, I know Asper graduates both MBA and undergraduate. Also, I'm University of Manitoba graduate myself. So I guess I can contribute here. Asper school of business has some ambition. Their dean has made it clear that he wants to see the school compete against schools like Rotman Queens and UBC. He p...

I don't know the answer to your question. I suggest contacting Canadian embassy, although it may be hard to reach them. You can call 1-800-O-Canada. They will transfer you to an apropriate department where you can get your answer. As an immigrant I can tell you one thing though, it is much nicer to ...

I don't know what to tell you. If you have wealth of work experience, I would apply. The problem with 600 score that you got is not as much a score it self, but the fact that the break down is uneven between quant and verbal sections. Business schools usually dont like uneven breakdowns. I can't com...
