n is an integer >0 r is remainder when n^2-1 div by 24. What is r ?
1. n not div by 2
2. n not div by 3
OA = both (c)

PS Question
75 is the sum of squares of 3 positive different integers. What is the sum of the integers ?

of course after the oa, i can guess the numbers to be 7,5,1 i.e. 49+25+1 but I cudnt imagine them before, any procedure ??

Can't get the logic for this one
From GMAT Disclosed Edition - Test Code 31 If the average of 5 positive temperatures is x degrees farenheit, then the sum of the 3 greatest of these temperatures in degrees, farenheit could be a) 6x b) 4x c) 5x/3 d)3x/2 e)3x/5 It is obviously not 6x. With statement 1 alone, wouldn't n=3 and n=6 be possible? 1/3 = 0.3333333333.... 1/6 = 0.1666666666....
