Regretting my part-time UF MBA
I've only been to one class so far and I'm already rethinking my decision to pursue an MBA. First and foremost I'm a software engineer and very much do enjoy coding. After working for a bank, I got excited about a career in Investment Banking. Now that I'm full headfirst into the program, I pretty c...

Got into UF Part Time MBA
As some might have seen my post about my abysmal score (550), none the less I decided to still apply for the Spring program to UF. It was one of my 4 choices, the others being UNC, Emory, and Kelly Direct. Well with that score, I pretty much had crossed them all of the list, but since UF was still d...

Thanks for the encouraging words. The last problem in Math I had to guess because I ran out of time. Besides that, I got one probability problem which I completely guessed on, because I was wasting too much time. I'm thinking maybe I should pick up some other resources to help me on my journey. I'm ...

I went through all the Manhattan GMAT books (except RC). I finished all the OG sections except RC an...

I did it using some back substitution. In order to minimize one, we need to maximize the others. If they were all the same population, then each would be 132000/11 = 12,000. I started with C (10900). 10900 means adding 1100 to the other 10 districts to keep the same population. 10% of 10900 = 1090. ...

The stem says that Y is a integer. Then B states that Y is a 3-digit number, which implies Y is a 3 digit integer. Then X would have to be an integer to make a integer.

Now I'm very confused. Cause now I'm getting D. Haha
Statement 1. X is prime Y is odd. Then X = 2 Y = 111
Statement 2. Y is odd and 3 digit integer. Y = 111, Then X = 2.

I got B . After factoring out 222 this is what I have: 1 * 222 2 * 111 3 * 74 6 * 37 The stem says that Y is an odd integer. This means that Y could be: 1,2,3,37,111. Statement 1: X is prime. If y is odd and X is prime then x could be 2 or 3. Insufficient Statement 2: Y is a 3-digit number. Only 111...

Night Reader, then what would your answer be?
To my knowledge 4/2 is a whole number on the GMAT.
