uzzy724, not sure about your exact background, but most students straight out of university do not have much real life work experience to speak off, unless they did a sandwich year in industry (rare). Even then, many observations on what can happen in the working world only comes with a few years on...

Hi! The Singapore Universities generally require a GMAT of 600 for MBA courses, although the mean admission score is about 650.

It depends on where you think the problems are. There are specialist courses in communications, leadership, etc. These might suit you better than an MBA, since the MBA is focused on getting you a broad-based education in management, from finance to accounting to marketing.

Honestly, schools like Stanford, UCLA, NYU, Columbia, Wharton, look for 700+ GMAT scores, together with outstanding track records. Unless you manage to get your scores way up, I think you would do better to look at other programs.

Although the Singaporean schools like NUS, NTU and SMU ask for 5 years, they actually take people with 2 years experience too. A 680-700 GMAT score should put you in good stead.

BTW, have you seen this site on the SMU MBA?

I actually know of someone with a 590 score who got into SMU. Mind you, although NUS, NTU and SMU ask for 600 in GMAT, their mean GMAT is much higher.
