I think you guys are talking about two different schools. UCSD is University of California, San Diego while USD is University of San Diego.

Got a reject from INSEAD with a feedback saying that they wanted me to work 2 more years and then re-apply. I have 5.5 years of work-ex in IT with just 6 months of International Exp. If I were you, I would probably retake the GMAT because of the 3.1 GPA. It's not a guarantee, but just so I feel better about myself since the whole process is "holistic" anyways. If that doesn't work out, maybe squeeze in a quant class from community college and Ace them? Just a reminder,...

Btw, why the drop between the 1st CAT and the rest?
I know Kaplan score are supposed to be lower but Kaplan 580 is still around GMAT 670.
So that's a drop from 760 to 670.

With English as a second language, I've always felt that it's going to be tough for me to get good verbal score. Now, I feel more confident that it's definitely doable. Thanks!
