It a great score! The question is, why did you get only 4 hrs of sleep? Please debrief test day if possible. The day before the GMAT I spent a lot of time studying throughout the day. I tried to go to sleep at 11:30pm the night before, and I couldn't fall asleep till 5:00am. I am not sure why, I wa...

Hi Lisa, I just took my GMAT. Not too thrilled with the results, but my score was 700 (Q:50 V:34). I am debating taking the GMAT again since my Verbal was routinely around 39-40 in the practice exams. So based on that score along with my low GPA as stated above in my profile (2.6 at a top engineerin...

GMAT did me in...

my score ended up a 700 (Q:50 V:34). I am so disappointed with this score. I know I am taking it again (since my practice exams were (720+ routinely). I just don't know how long I should hold off before taking it again. I do feel I was greatly affected by only getting 4 hours of sleep the previous n...

This is really helpful advice. Though it might be too late for me. One of the biggest things I noticed about the GMAT Prep and OG CR vs the other prep CR was the length of them. Are the actual GMAT CRs all very lengthy or do they vary as they do in the OG? Also, I take it speed is just a matter of p...

MGMAT CATs vs GMAT Prep CATs...

Hi all, I am taking my exam this weekend and I need some feedback. I have been doing both CATs. I first took the GMAT Prep CAT1 (with practically no prep). I took my MGMAT CATS most of the way through. And I just took the GMAT Prep CAT2 (installed like a 4 mths ago). My CATS went: GMAT Prep 1: 650 M...

Reading Comp Strategy...

I am taking the GMAT this weekend and I am trying to solidify which strategy is wiser to user with Reading Comp. Which is better: 1) Thoroughly read the passage at least once or twice (investing about 4 minutes for longer ones), and then answer each question. 2) Scan the passage understand the gist ...

Mike, Thanks for the reply and I agree with most of what you are saying. I do feel, however, that once you start to get into the range of taking the exam more than 3 or 4 times, it can start to have an adverse effect on your application. It is my understanding that although the admission committees...

Hi Lisa, I also have a low GPA profile. I had a 2.6 at top engineering school. I did have some extenuating circumstances. However after graduating, I have 5 yrs in Business IT Consulting with a Big 4 firm. I am about to take the GMAT in 2 weeks (realistically looking at a 680 to 720 score). I have a...

I think the answer is A. 1) Sufficient because factors are: 1 and (a^4)(b^3) a and (a^3)(b^3) a^2 and (a^2)(b^3) a^3 and (a)(b^3) a^4 and b^3 so on so forth... clearly you can get a distinct countable value for the number of factors. 2) Insufficient because it only states 5 and 7 are prime factors.....

I think it is E. 1) XXX + 150 = 4XX The numbers that satisfy this condition range from: 250 to 349. So therefore the hundreds digit can be 2 or 3 and Insufficient. 2) XXX + 25 = X7X The numbers that satisfy this condition range from: X45 to X54.
