Hey! I dont see 670 as a bad score at all. You always have to keep that +-20 margin based on what you get in the mock tests. After all giving the real exam is a different ball game. Given your work-ex, you do stand a good chance in all schools you mention. I had a 680 and got through IE business sch...

From the table
d+z=m
e+y=n
We need to find m+n = d+z+e+y
Statement 1
-----------
d+y = -3 not sufficient since we dont have the values
of z and e
Statement 2
-----------
e+z = 12 not sufficient since we dont have the values of d and y
Combing 1 and 2,
we can find m+n
Hence C

Whenever you see anything of the form (a+b)^2 or a^2-b^2 just try and factorise using the formula. This will almost always eliminate the root in the question. For this question you just need to apply (a+b)^2 you get, 9+√80 + 9-√80 + 2√(9+√80)(9-√80) =18+2√(81-80) --> applying a^2-b^2 = (...

Whenever an event has a 50% chance of occuring,it can always be treated as a flipping of a coin question. This question is the same as "what is the probability of getting 4H on 7 flips of a coin" You can apply the formula : P(k results on n flips) = nck/2^n Here,K=4,N=7 and the answer on s...

Is this question correct?
When they ask for likelihood they are asking for the probability of an event happening? How can the answer choices be greater than 1?
If its just the number of ways in which each person will choose different numbers is 4! = 24 which is not among the choices.
