Re: X>Y
Pls solve. from what i can understand statement 2 is saying the gap between x and y must be 20%. Since y% has a compounding effect, the outcome will depend on value chosen for x% and the actual number used: e.g. x=50%, y= 30% starting value = 100 --> 150 --> 105 (ending value) hence ans is yes but ...

Re: 213 less or more
Is (1/n) - (1/(n + k)) <1/10? 1. K> 10 2. N> 10 I think the answer is C we arrive at equation k/n(n+k) < 0.1 therefore we need both values of n and k to arrive at a definite answer.. if k is 11.. and n = 11.. we ge the vlaue of 0.04 which is less than 0.1.. any value higher than 11 for either of th...

IMO D. declining sales (continued action) cannot be shown in percentage until it is complete. so it should be 'declined'. this leaves only B and D. in B, since cannot go with 'and' after the comma so as to provide the contrast needed with 'since'. Thus only D is left. What's the OA? In D, "......

What's the source of this question?mehravikas wrote:IMO - C
I am not too sure. A and E can be ruled out because there is not enough information in the passage to prove whether they are true or false. 'B' is stated in the argument and the comparison given in 'D' cannot be proved to be true or false.

IMO : E, I am surprised C is answer. I am sure C is wrong. As the housing affordability gap widens, middle-income families are especially hard-hit, and these families can no longer qualify to buy homes, and rising rental rates force them to use far more than the standard 25 percent of their incomes...

A farm has a piece of land that has grass growing at an even speed. The land can sustain 27 cows for 6 weeks and 23 cows for 9 weeks. How many wee...
