Reg 1000DS
drhomler, I haven't used 1000DS at all . I thought OG11 and kap 800 were sufficient for DS . I think it did work out on the exam since I had 49Q in GMAT. I have avoided 1000SC since my SC is really weak and I didn't want to lose any of the concepts learnt from OG 11 to be smudged by questions withou...

my strategy
Well here is my take , Quant: I would say the last 50 questions on OG 11 are really good. I plan to revisit them and understand the concepts used . I think for quant the additional tough questions from this site's GMAT resources should be fine. Verbal: Revisit the entire SC questions from OG 11and e...

All the best
Thanks ! Scoring a 650 is kind of frustrating but it just shows that we can make it to the 700s.
With my work load getting a bit crazy , it will be a while when I go for a second attempt at GMAT.
All the best to you ..we are near to our goals ..just need to focus and we
are there .

Ans is B. To make the conclusion evident from the average age increase, we should make sure average age increase is not due to any other factor for e.g influx of aged population from other region or increase in birth rate . (A) The number of people in the region under the age of 18 has increased ove...

n is a positive integer and the product of all the integers from 1 to n, inclusive, means we are looking n! which is n * n-1 * n-2 * ...1 It is stated that n! is a multiple of 990 so n! should be divisible by the factors of 990 . 990 = 11 * 10* 9 as well. 11 ! would be the smallest number which cont...

I would go with the simple solution that the 2 - sqr rt x < 0 for the whole expression amkes it not real or in other words complex. Substituting values from the options 5 satisfies it. This is a quick way to do it. In case there were other options which would have satisfied the inequation. We should...

Scored 650
Hi all, I wrote the exam yesterday and I scored 650 ( 49Q,29V). I was a bit disappointed with my verbal score. I guess the two months of preparation I put in, weren't enough. For the exam , I used OG 11 and Kaplan 800. They did help me improve my scores from the ones I got in GMAT prep. My GMATprep ...

I would go with option C as economic viability is defined directly in terms of the efficiency of oil powered plants and solar power plants. It tells us how the price hasn't increased for oil.
