Can you say one of the reasons you chose the school is because they have a strong study abroad program? Would the adcom feel that you don't want to be at the school?

Lack of Additional Optional Essay Schools
Hello, I was wondering what should I do if they don't provide an opportunity for an optional essay. For Kellogg, and Haas, there isn't an opportunity for me to explain my low GPA. Kellogg provides a line "I wish the Admissions Committee had asked me…" but that takes out one of my essays wh...

Devils Advocate
Disclaimer: I am playing devils advocate right now. This isn't 100% what I think. 1. Yes people can study for the GMAT and get a higher score, but I think that's the point! You are gonna have the same situation in B-School, you learn a lot of material in a short amount of time and need to score will...

Okay let me clarify what I have said. If there are any experts, please chime in. However I think you misinterpreted some of my statements. Couple things I will agree with you, GMAT for all intersive purposes is normally distributed. It isn't gonna be a true bell curve, it's a somewhat skewed bell, a...

It is interesting reading why you said, I think people target 700 because it is totally pyschological, it's actually a simple number and it looks good. Also you can always say I scored in the "seven hundreds." Edit: Forgot to add, because of how 700 is the benchmark now, if you score a 700...

Close To MBA Campus
Hello,
I was reading above, and notice what you said about using proximity to campus as an advantage. Would visiting classes work for UCLA as well. How would you approach the school.
