Thanks Paul

Paul - I appreciate your comments about the iMBA program. I found a lack of first-person accounts on ANY of the online programs that made it very difficult to determine which program to attend. Because of this, I am thinking of blogging my iMBA experience.

It was a tough decision. I felt that the Penn State program was a better fit for me because: -The 'real-world' experience of the first residency. I like how it is at a real corporation. I have 20 years work experience and I am a big proponent of real world experiences. -At Penn State, the cohort sta...

Sorry for my typo, where it says '214' it should be 14.

Other than that, I am not sure what part is confusing. Can you clarify what part of my answer doesn't make sense?

I did get my third acceptance to Arizona State University.

And I have also made my decision to attend the Penn State iMBA program.

Any advice on how to chose between the programs? <m>

I am vascilating wildly between the programs. Indiana (Kelley) is the higher ranked program. There are electives, so you can tailor the program a bit more. You need to register and determine which classes you are going to take and to order class materials, etc. Penn State is more cohort focused - th...

Online MBA admits for older student <m>

With the help of this forum, I got a 720 (48Q, 41V) 22 years after graduating with a BA in Psychology from UC Berkeley. My family situation only allows me to apply to online MBA programs as I can't and don't want to move from my great ski town and I can't be away from my kids every other weekend for...

You're welcome, just trying to help. I took all the free tests and didn't think that any was significantly better than any other.

Just a comment that no matter what practice tests you take, the best way to really improve from them is to analyze the questions that you missed and study those types of questions until you really know how to do them. Just taking practice tests is good for text environment prep but not for learning ...

It must be an issue with the word 'similar.' I guess the author may be using it in the sense that it is used for similar triangle, which I guess usually means that the shape is the same, but ALL the dimensions change. Alara and I felt from the wording that only the changed (to the specific 20 from 1...

Oh OK, you said: And a nod to 'older' candidates. It has been 22 years since I graduated with my MBA and about that long since i have used most of the algebra and geometry that are on the test. You CAN relearn it and you CAN do well. Berkeley is very close to where I live :) My typo, meant BA not M...

Sorry if I confused you, I have a BA in Psychology from the University of California, Berkeley 1987. That is the only degree I have.

The online program will be the way I get my MBA.

I am not sure what you mean by another MBA?

Thanks. For a number of reasons, online MBA is my only option, so I will be applying to Indiana University, Penn State and Arizona State University as they have the best online MBA programs.

I hope to have a choice :)

I will be completing my applications this week.

720!!!! 49Q, 41V. I am very happy

I took the test this morning (Feb 10). I have to say that the challenging questions in the Math section of this board were great prep for the test and I know my Quant score is significantly higher than it would have been without this board. And a nod to 'older' candidates. It has been 22 years since...

i'm confused. two wheeler plus mobile = 60 two wheeler plus credit card = 40 all three = 10 60 + 40 + 10 > 100 how can these three numbers combined be greater than the total number of two wheelers? Because you can't add 60+40+10. The 10 has already been counted twice since they that two wheeler plu...
