Hi Dana,
I have a question regarding the integrated writing part of the test.
Are we allowed to take some notes when we read or listen to the lecture? Or are we supposed to be brilliant enough to remember everything?

Maybe it's a dumb question, but doesn't TOEFL give you your score straight away? Since it's internet based, I was sure the score will pop up at the end of the test, just like at GMAT. Anyway, I found myself to be accepted into a good US programme, now I am taking TOEFL, in May Dana, do you have any ...

I hope to get some of the opinions on my situation... I was just accepted to Penn State. A month ago I got an offer from Edinburgh Uni Business School. I really wanted the UK programme, but have nothing against Penn State programme either. )) Moreover, Penn State gives me 100% tuition fee waiver AND...

I don't know, to tell the truth. But yes, it seems logical that you decide to study somewhere where you want to settle down afterwards. I want to live in the UK, so I want to study there first. I got in touch with one of the alumnus, she found a job in the UK, just as she wanted, after graduation. B...

^^ I have this book by Nedda Gilbert. I found it very useful. I am rather good at writing essays, but I aways need an initial push - where to start the essay, and what shall I start with. Browsing through the essays in this book gave me a good what I should write and how. I almot felt inspired after...

I know what you feel! I had the same "spirits crushed" state in the fall, when LBS message came. But I always live my life with a philosophy - what is done, is done for the better! Then it was not my place there in LBS. Now I am going to Edinburgh and feeling very good about it. I hope you...

^^ I don't know what is the first school you are talking about. Cranfield is a very good one, you should definitely check it out for yourself. Edinburgh University Business School was among the most interesting for me, I applied there, and got accepted. I like its location, small class size and thei...

^^ I didn't see the distribution per industry/sector/company, but I checked info on FT and BW and the statistics looked good. I am intrested in consulting after graduation, and the school has connections through alumni with consulting companies, which was important for me. It came up during the inte...
