Doclkk, I went from 620 (my first practice test after some study) to 720 on my real GMAT. It ain't easy, it takes a lot of time, especially if you are to improve the verbal part, but it's achievable. There are many ways to reach the solution, but I agree that grouping them and multiplying is the easiest one.

Rajib, it takes a looot of practice to get a 40 on verbal, but practice on everyday life level. Read american-english newspapers, and try to analyze the reasoning behind every question on the OG guides. That's what helped me the most!
