Interview question
Hello, I am interviewing with a middle-tier school in a few weeks, with a solid resume and a GMAT score that is 40 points about their average. It is a state school, and they say that there are a fair amount of scholarships that are given out every year. Naturally, I want a piece of that. I feel good...

Again, not a consultant... but as someone with a well-functioning "Bulls*** Meter", if I heard someone say that they wanted to get into finance to put children in schools and save babies from whooping cough, I would think that they were an insufferable, butt-kissing schmuck, and would cons...

Well, no word yet. I guess that's a ding.
I figured that since they interview a majority of their applicants, and I have a competitive profile compared to their norms, I wouldn't have a problem getting an interview. Must be an extra competitive field this year.

Anyone hear about an interview??
Supposedly the deadline is this weekend. I figured that since they have a history of interviewing a lot of applicants, I wouldn't have a problem with that, since my profile is competitive. However, I'm starting to resolve myself to my backup school.

I suggest lots of protein. Helps you feel full and allows for focus. I also suggest a couple cups of coffee before the test.
As for the herbs... I did that the afternoon after my test.

Just chill. Watch a movie. Play guitar. Get up fairly early that day, so you can get to bed fairly early that night, and get a solid 8 hours in.

Hello, I appled to R2 for Duke and Wharton, both the morning of the deadline (Jan 7 and 8, respectively), and will be finishing my app for Arizona St. in the next few days. Might want to read a bit closer, bucko... the threads are saying "CLASS of 2011" Applicants. i.e. graduating in 2011.
