I am shocked to see the answer as 19/30.
From my understanding the answer should be 11/30 as this is the amount that left unspent on the PC.
Can somebody throw light on this as i don;t see much problem in understanding the language of the question.

Given equation can also be written as y=x^2+x(a+b)+ab --eq1 1) a+b=-1 hence y=x^2-x+ab when y=0 x^2 - x = -ab --eq2 we dont know ab or a or bhence INSUFF 2) ...

OG-11- DS-145
Is 1/p >r/r^2+2 ? 1- p=r 2- r>0. If i consider the stmt-1 then 1/r > r/r^2+2 In order to simplify it further, i can do a cross multlipication, that would result in ==> r^2 +2 >r^2 now looking at the above simplified inequality i can easily say that whether r>0 or r<0; the above inequality will alway...

Re: Correct Answer : A
A is indeed correct answer as average weight is constant (140) for all examples. Let Male be 1 and Females be 2, thus: Total weight of Male = 180 Total weight of Females = 120*2 = 240 total weight = 420, Avg. = 420/3 = 140 You could use any values and result will still be same. D cannot be correct ...

The easiest way to crack mod questions is by doing the following: |x| = x (only if x > 0) |x| = -x (only if x < 0) Here, it's pretty clear that 2 all by itself doesn't do much. However, if you have that |x| = y - z and x < 0, then -x = y - z, so z = x + y, and you get 1. Domu, isn't it true that wh...
