agreeing with all, "best new group" is a Singular noun.
also "best" is superlative degree and it refers to singular noun.
So i will go with "B"

I reevaluated my answer and it comes to 114 now.

Is |x| < 1 ?
(1) |x + 1| = 2|x minus 1|
(2) |x minus 3| > 0

my answer is E.
This problem has 3 variables but we don't have 3 equations.
Also if you try to solve the equations from stmt1 and stmt2, it doesnt give value
for a variable.
Please correct me, if i'm wrong.

stmt 1) x-y =6 => x=y+6. That means absolute value of x and y can never be same because of +6. stmt 2) x+y = 0 => x = -y. So absolute value of x and y will also be same.
