Same happened to me. Sat the GMAT last week, did well in Q but verbal got the better of me. This really is a test of stamina and endurance. confused - data sufficiency...

why isn't the answer D.

because looking at 1....

m+n < 0
therefore m < -n sufficient

or

n < -m sufficient

i.e. m does not equal n

am I missing something??

AWA: Issue or Argument first?

Can someone pleae tell me if the Issue or the Argument is first up when sitting the actual GMAT? GMAT PREP is Argument first, but all books seem to tackle Issue first. Just curious....

Disheartened :( Need timing advice...

I have been studying now for five weeks (M-F) about 5-7 hours a day and have booked a test date at the end of the month. Link/advice re: Recommended timing strategy?

Looking for advice on how long to spend on each question during the exam for both Q and V...

Have heard that more time/effort should be directed to intial 10 questions for Q & V as these are the questions that really determine your score...

Any advice greatly appreciated.

1) 4x^0.5 is an integer

2) 3X^0.5 is not an integer

I meant 96^2 and I can see now!

96 = 2^5*3

Therefore, since 96^2 = 2^10*3^2

How would one know to convert 96 into either:

2^10*3^2

OR

8^2*3^2*2^4
