if elderly are supplemented by their children for a standard living, the %20 increase will serve to decrease the ammount children spend on their elderly, not the amount elderly can spend.

(6*9)/(11*9) = 54/99

salex tax doesnt increase means less units sold in places where tax is higher.
from this we can infer that as tax increases sales decrease
for D, it doesnt say anything about numbers imho.
