Why dont you try plotting the points.

With the info given, you would be able to plot only 1 line for k, but many lines for n. Hence not sufficient. I hope this helps.

You could just try converting 8/9 and 1/8 to decimals if you are comfortable.

8/9 = 0.89
1/8 = 0.125

Lesser values can also give > 1, so E
