Retaking GMAT in 2 months - need to score 630
Hello, I took my first GMAT exam on Sept 30, 2016. It wasn't until mid August when I decided to apply to Business School with the deadline of the application on Oct 01. for 5 weeks, I studied Manhattan Prep books, took few days from my stressful full-time job before the exam, practised a lot, before...

Hi karimelchami, From what you've described, the big 'issue' that you faced on this CAT might have actually been a physical one and not a mental or tactical one. Many Test Takers face endurance/fatigue issues during the Verbal section - which is understandable since the GMAT is about 4 hours long a...

Hi karimelchami, Have you done a full review of this CAT and filled out your Mistake Tracker? Beyond the specifics of that document (which can help you to truly define WHY you got questions wrong), a much simpler review would categorize your wrong answers in each section into 3 categories: How many...

one week left to retake my exam. I've been reviewing Verbal and Quant (mainly verbal) for the last week on empowergmat and took my first CAT after my official gmat exam and I got a disappointing 400 on it. Q32 percentile 30 V15 percentile 9 I took the full CAT exam with AWA and IR, and I was followi...

Retake GMAT exam in 3 weeks!
Hello, I posted couple of weeks ago this thread: http://www.beatthegmat.com/2-weeks-till-the-exam-and-my-score-on-practice-is-450-t292559.html where I had 12 days left to take the GMAT exam and was stuck around 450 on practice tests. Last week before the exam, I practiced a lot and my scores improve...

Hi karimelchami. While the likelihood of you hitting 580 in 12 days is not great, your doing so is not inconceivable. On your practice tests, what were your quant and verbal section scores? Meanwhile, are you saying that this is the only application deadline of the school to which you plan to apply...

2 weeks till the exam and my score on practice is 450
Hello, As the subject states, my gmat exam is in 12 days and my score is around 450 on Manhattan Prep practice tests (up from 420 last week). My aim is to get 580, but postponing the exam is not an option at all as the deadline of the MBA application is a day after the GMAT exam date. Haven't studie...
