Yes, I'm planning to to take my GMAT again. Actually my mock scores were consistently in the 700-720 range, so hopeful of a better score.
If I increase my GMAT score to 740, will my profile be good enough to be considered?

I definitely plan to work before applying. However, I wanted to know my chances for the deferred admission programs. The ones offered by HBS and Stanford.

I had been practicing for about a month, and most of GMAT Prep mocks gave me a score from 690-710. The last 3 had me consistently score 40-42 in Verbal, while my quant was always in the range of 48-50. I got 660 in my actual test.
