looks like you're bit tensed...please don't be!!! that'll not only drop your scores, but it doesn't serve any purpose. relax and go in with high confidence. you have to realize this is only a test and you can take it as many times as you want. also, in my case, i was able to concentrate lot better d...

well, you actually have more than 2 minutes for the hard problems. In actual GMAT, you'll come across some problems that you can solve under 30 secs. having said that, i recommend not spending over 3 minutes on any problem. if you can't solve under 3, just guess and move on. the best way to improve ...

Don't read too much into the scores. Only scores that really matter are the GMATPreps. BUT do pay attention to the trend of the scores and also MGMAT tests do excellent job in identifying your weaknesses.
I found the verbal of MGMAT very helpful while quant is bit too cumbersome to solve.

Took Veritas Verbal course over the wknd and I honestly thought the course was waste of my money. Now, if you're just starting to study GMAT, i think it can definately help you. But if you're well into your studies, or attempting for 2nd time around to get 700+, don't waste your time and money here....

Re: Remainder
gmat009 wrote:If p and n are positive integers p >n , what is the remainder when p^2-n^2 is divided by 15
The remainder when p+q is divided by 5 is 1
The remainder when p-q is divided by 3 is 1
Quick question, wouldn't this be obviously E since both of the statements are not mentioning n at all?

gmat009 wrote:When positive integer x is divided by positive integer y, the remainder is 9. If x/y = 96.12, what is the value of y?
A. 96
B. 75
C. 48
D. 25
E. 12
OA is B
Plz. explain
x/y = 96.12
x/y = 96 + 12/100
r/y = 12/100
9/y = 12/100
900 = 12y
y=75
ANSWER B.

i wish there was something wrong with the verbal...but unfortunately, there isn't. I think the biggest reason for me was that I didn't focus on the first 10 questions. I think this strategy is more important in verbal than quant. I'm giving my test in 3 wks again and this time, i'll spend whatever t...

If rs is not equal to zero, is 1/r + 1/s = 4? 1. r + s = 4rs 2. r = s First simplify the question. 1/r + 1/s = 4 (s+r)/sr = 4 r+s = 4rs So the question is asking is R + S = 4RS ??? 1) Gives you exactly that. 2) try plugging in couple of values. r and s can be anything and does not have to equal 4 s...
