Well my advise wud b that if u r applying to schools ranked between 16 and 50... there wont b much of a difference... check 4 the location of the school and ur changes of getting a scholarship... I think with above average essays & recos + 660... Univ of Washington wud b in ur grasp... I know a ...

Hi Alek I also scored a 640 twice but with 1 year's gap 2007 - 640 (48,28 ) 2008 - 640 (47,31) Similar case as yours... I've applied to different schools in the latter attempt...I'm also deciding to put all this at the back of my mind and start writing some good essays... It would b nice if any1 can...

Guys thanks a lot 4 all ur inputs.... As I had mentioned in my 1st post, I don't mind taking the GMAT for the 4th time.... But my real concern is, Is it advisable? Cuz i think i'm surely gonna get some frowns from colleges for my 4th attempt. Also as mentioned by OsamaKhan, my 4th attempt will knock...

But Ian,
In the given question,
(sqrt(3)+sqrt(2))^2 = 3 + 2*sqrt(6) + 2 = 5 + 2sqrt(6)
is the denominator right?
So we cannot get the answer directly...
Now in fact the ans E becomes more ambiguous

Yeah i tried ur method...
sqrt(2) ~ 1.4
sqrt(3) ~ 1.7
The eqn is [1/ (sqrt (3)-sqrt(2))]^2
So, [1/ (1.7-1.4)]^2
.... [1/0.3^2]
.... [1/0.09]...
What after this?
Btw the OA is E...
