Thanks for the responses everyone.

Hi, Thanks for your response. I definitely agree. Preparation is key. Statistically though, the posted acceptance rates are a bit misleading for both US and international citizens. Long run it is irrelevant. I just don't remember ever seeing it brought up. As the share of foreign applicants increase...

Admissions
Hi, I know this is somewhat irrelevant in the long run, however out of curiosity... I feel that my profile is weak for two reasons mainly: 1) Lack of Fortune 500 experience. 2) Undergraduate degree. Otherwise, I am confident in myself, and hope I get an opportunity to showcase that confidence in the interviews. Many people I have spoken to have also told me not to self-eliminate. I...

Hi, Thanks for the response, Anil. By hybrid tech/finance company, I meant a technology company that is trying to disrupt in one way or another, the finance industry. An example would be "Betterment". I know it's a very specific goal, and I am not sure if that is optimal in the eyes of the...

To mention, or not to mention wife and kid(s) in essays...
Is it possible that being married with a child may be a turnoff at some schools?
Should this be my little secret initially?
What do you all think?
