sorry to bring this back from the dead, but can someone explain to me how "it" refers back to the CIA?

I was under the impression "it" is ambiguous as it can refer to the Supreme Court OR the CIA.

TIA guys =)

I'm in the same position as you. I'm sure you know that R2 deadlines are coming in one month. And since you've already taken the test twice, I'm assuming you also know that you have to wait 30 days to take the next test. So given that information, it's definitely near impossible for you to make R2 d...

Still not sure why this is E. I chose C as well.

Any explanation why this is E? I still can't conclude why E does not weaken the argument.

"The mind is a terrible thing to waste".....

Ok, so I was reading Spidey's SC notes and ended up at page 10-11 with the example of the camel's domestication. Spidey mentioned some rules in there with the verb "to be". It came to my attention, this common American term: "The mind is a terrible thing to waste" is probably wro...

Rey, thanks for the response, I understand what you're saying but the question does ask "...what two points intersect the x-axis..." The two points are (0,-a) and (0,-b), right? Now that we have that, if we have enough data to pinpoint the values of 'a' and 'b', then we're good to go right...

I'm still confused in this question. I solve the possible values for b=2,-3 & a=2,-3 . To fulfill the data, they can be any combination though. (a,b) = (-3,2) or (2,-3) The two points that intersect the X-axis is (0,-a) & (0,-b). How do you know which combo is it? Is it (0,3)&(0,-2) or (...

Gonna have to go with B but I didn't use any of the strategy you guys outlined. Can you guys explain the negation rule and how you used that to come to the conclusion (B)? I just came to B because it made logical sense in my head, lol....well, also after writing down on paper the conclusion and evid...
