I received the initial interview request today. I'm in the Bay Area. I emailed yesterday to inquire about my application status and was told MLT was "flooded" with interest and that they had yet to send out all interview requests. Consider this another data point for those who may not have...

Has anyone not heard back for an interview? The website dates say 10/10, 10/17, and 10/24 as potential interview dates.

Also curious - which regions are you from?

Congrats! Did you use the Scorebooster study plan (both Q and V or just one)?

I took the GMAT in July and scored a 670 (Q44 V38). I started using the Empowergmat Scorebooster (Q and V) study plan. I'm in the RC portion now. Any feedback would be helpful. Thanks!

Update: Completed my second day using the EMPOWERgmat Score Booster. So far, so good. I went through the Test It, DS, and Test the Answer modules so far. I'll complete Triage and Number Properties tomorrow. I'm really looking forward to picking up more tips on "chucking" certain questions ...

I'm considering enrolling in an in-person course in the Bay Area Bear in mind that you're starting at a level - 700+ on practice tests, 670 on a bad day - that many students aspire to get to by the end of a class. This isn't to say that you wouldn't benefit from a class, but you want to make sure t...

I sat for the GMAT exam this morning and scored a 670 Q44 V38. I had some test day jitters and got off to a poor start on Quant. I definitely misunderstood the first several questions, which threw me - and presumably my score - off. I barely finished the quant section in time, I found myself guessin...

Hi msauers, With your test date rapidly approaching, I'm curious if you've had a chance to take a full-length practice exam as Rich suggested earlier this month. Would love to know if you've seen any progress since you first posted this thread. Best, Rich Hi Rich, Yes. My latest full-length CAT was...

Other than reviewing my answers Wednesday (tomorrow) and taking it easy on Thursday (day before exam), is there anything else I should be doing? The only major issue I can identify is timing at the end of Verbal. I consistently find myself left with a little over ten minutes and ten question to go....

Second Update: I purchased the GMAT Prep Exam pack and question pack to supplement my training. This morning, I took exam 3 and scored a 720 IR 7, Q48/V40. Hopefully I can replicate those results next week when I sit for the exam! I notice I'm rushing at the end of the Verbal section, forcing me to ...

Hello msauers, Great job on improving your essay length! Writing: I didn't notice any significant writing errors. Structure: I saw in your post that you barely had time to finish reviewing before you submitted your material. You've got plenty of strong content, so I think it would be fine to write ...

Yet Another AWA - MGMAT CAT

Katharine, thanks in advance for your feedback. In this attempt, I concentrated on improving the conclusion by providing more detail of the essay prompt. I managed to write five paragraphs and 555 words. I barely had enough time to review the entire response (20 seconds left with one paragraph left ...
