I thing that the only part of the GMAT that you can improve significantly in a few days is the Sentence Correction part. You should review the Eric's Flashcards (they've been (still are!!!) extremely helpful...thanks mister Eric) and try to learn AS MANY idioms AS you can. I did not review the Readi...

Taking the GMAT not twice but three times!!! 580/610/700!!!
Here is my story, for those who have been disappointed with their scores. I spent two intensive weeks during Christmas and I sat for the GMAT first on January and obtained 580 (bad score!). My practice scores were around 690-700. Then I decided to retake the test in February and obtained 610 (bad sc...

Re taking the test
Hi everybody. As I said in my earlier posts I took the GMAT in january and scored 580 which is far below my target (650-700). Yesterday I did a test with powerprep and scored 740. I heard that powerprep is easier than the test itself (I think that the Quant is easier). Do you think that I have the p...

Bad score (Did anyone experienced the same thing?)
Hi, I took the GMAT today and got a 580 (Q44 V26) which is very bad! I really don't know why I messed up since I kept scoring between 660 (Q47 V34) and 700 (Q48 V38) during my prep (with GMAT prep). During the exam I had difficulty with quant (a lot of combination and probability!!!). But what is st...

Thank you
Thank you very much for all your answers. Indeed, I hope that I will crack the Quant since I am french and the verbal is quite difficult for non-native english!
Good luck to everyone!

GMAT Prep
Hi everyone, I just did my first exam with GMAT Prep this morning and got 700 (Q48 V38). However I have a big doubt on the accuracy of this score since I made 18 errors in Quant (10 at the end because i did not managed my time very well) and 15 errors in Verbal. Can it be possible to score 700 with ...

Answer
There are 4 even integers: 2,4,6,8.
The probability to pick 2 or 6 = 1/4 + 1/4 = 1/2
Then the probability to pick the other integer (either 2 or 6) is 1/3
So the answer is 1/2 * 1/3 = 1/6
