I have been working in Cognizant from the past four years. I completed my B.E. in 2009 and after a year started working at the company. I have had a satisfying tenure, however I still feel that I need to grow and that the room for growth is only possible through an MBA degree from a reputed college....

There are many good colleges in Asia. Few of them are The Nanyang Business School, IIM University, S.P. Jain School of Global Management. Melbourne Business School is also good.

But when the ranking is done by recognized authors they obviously go through all these things and then only give ranks to colleges. Ultimately you are getting quality education, good placements and everything. And you get a ready list of colleges to choose from.

Yes I agree with you...ranking is important, especially when you are expecting a good package from the companies. It holds a respect and adds value to your resume if you have taken degree from a reputed college.
