Why does A use wrong comparison? The comparison is not ambiguous in my opinion "they need to know more about X than now" - only meaning that makes sense is "[..]need to know more about X than they do now" The possible comparison is just senseless and therefore does not lead to am...

Ok, first things first: Thanks Mitch for your response! So the comparison must be clear, and if you want to add an word/verb it has to be "parallel" to the previous verb. That Rule works for me :) But: Interpretation 1: The US spends more money on health care than [the US spends money on] ...

But what is the rule when do I have to add a word and when not??
I don't think that in example 1 there is any ambiguity, if we had omitted the word "does"?

Yes I also had access to magoosh (a friend bought that one and gave me his login details) I didn't like it that much. Magoosh teaches you content BUT NOT CONCEPTS TO BEAT THE GMAT (same as manhattan gmat does) - that's why empowergmat is unbeatable in quant. HOWEVER, they have a huge database of que...

If you want Q+V, I recommend Empowergmat - Rich's videos for the quant part are awesome! However, I was not very satisfied with the verbal here. That's why I also bought e-Gmat SC and CR. Both great courses, I highly recommend them. So if you want verbal only, definitely e-GMAT. I haven't tested the...

Tax differences and test report analysis
I have two unrelated questions: 1) Why are there taxation differences for the GMAT? I pay an additional 50 USD VAT for the GMAT, something I hadn't done for the TOEFL for example or in other countries. Why do the GMAT officials not take steps, so that the tax will be abandoned? 2) Why do you not off...

I used the 3step notefull program and I think not much other material is needed? Well, the OG but I suppose you already used that book ?
I truly believe, besides having an average command of the language, that's all you will need. Don't spend any further money on stuff that does not work.

UPDATE; I bought both CR & SC now, and want to give feedback to anyone who is interested: CR: It is great! I have gone through the first 70 CR Official guide Questions and I got only 4 wrong! That is something I hadn't accomplished before. And no, I don't remember the questions from the first ti...

Hi Richard, difference full-CAT vs. practice: obviously the verbal, as the last section I feel quite tired. Especially, the fully underlined SC's are a torture at the end. During normal practice, I feel "fresh". by topic: I could not find a true pattern. I have attached the assessment from...

e-GMAT SC despite MGMAT SC?
Hi, I used e-GMATs CR and I liked it. Now I plan about taking e-GMAT SC, but I have some doubts. Does e-GMAT SC have an additional value over MGMAT SC? I really liked MGMAT SC as well, it is well known to be the standard in GMAT SC and I am not sure whether I need to take SC. Depending on which 10 S...
