Recommendations: * BUILD STRONG FUNDAMENTALS : I can't stress this enough, even for people already scoring in the 500-600s. Focusing on a quick fix with test strategies did not help me as much as reviewing the fundamentals. If you don't have the time to study, you should postpone your test date or ...

June: * Finished OG Diagnostic Questions (further isolate strength/weakness, figured out that DS weakness has more to do with carelessness. * Learned about the AD/BCE technique for DS questions. If (1) is sufficient, then the answers must be A or D. Else, B, C, or E. * Trained myself mentally to is...

I think it favors GPA and GMAT quite a bit into the equation, and when I put in my 3.9 GPA and 770 GMAT, it did not matter what other parameters I changed. Of course, this just means I have a good chance given the academic credentials, and I won't put too much thoughts into the results. Just play ar...

I can't really offer much advice on Quant. Like many people on this forum, I was pretty strong in Quant. already, and I just wanted to make sure I did not make stupid mistakes. The only major weakness I had in Quant. was permutation/combination, but I did not see a single problem on the real GMAT.

I believe that the 85-95 hit rate should be fine for 700+, though I don't have exact numbers. You are also counting the hit rate for last 50 questions, which are supposedly more difficult. For my self assessment breakdown for each section overall in my practice: PS: 95 - 100% DS: 95 - 100% RC: 90 - ...

In my experience, that should be the case.

I think the GMAT scoring scale changes on an annual basis, and you can get a basic feeling of the scale from the official site.

Mad prop's you make it sound easy almost........care to comment on the verbal? Everyone has been making it sound like a nightmare. I get a feeling that jpthomas is a native English speaker, and as I glance through the forum, I'd guess a large portion of the forum does not fit jpthomas' profile. You...

You probably won't like what I tell you.

I don't think you should be going into the test while you are expecting to outperform your norm results by 100+ points. If that happens, I'd be the first to congratulate you, but I am trying to be realistic here.

What is the score range that you are looking for?

If your intended score range is around 500, then I'd say go for it since GMATPrep is pretty accurate in my experience (relative to other mock tests).

If you have only that amount of limited time, my suggestion would be not do any practice questions but go through your past practice. Are you still missing the questions that you missed the first time? Do you understand why you missed that TYPE of question in the first place? That reflection exercis...
