However, if you are interested in the school sending the email, you should respond. Here's why: As an applicant, you put yourself in the be...

In addition to the good advice you've received above, the first thing I would do is check if the schools you are applying to have a minimum TOEFL requirement. That is often an absolute cut-off regardless of the remainder of the profile. Also, be certain you're looking at the MBA programs' TOEFL requ...

No, taking the GMAT several times is not problematic unless it is excessive. I once saw an applicant to who took the GMAT 7 times (!). I'd say that three times is the high end, and five times is the max. If I were interviewing you, I'd be curious how you prepared for the 530 exam versus the 630 exam...

The second score presents you more favorably as the quant and the IR are stronger. When I served as the Director of MBA Admissions, we would review what the applicant submitted, and look at the official GMAT score report. Therefore, we saw all of the attempted scores in our evaluations. I don't thin...

Weven - This may be too obvious, but have you considered getting in touch with your contact at the school to ask what you can do to improve your profile and proactively move yourself from the waiting list to the admitted list? I recognize that some schools have very strict policies about this. Howev...
