Is |a| + |b| > |a + b| ?
(1) a^2 > b^2
(2) |a| × b < 0
Stem1:
Not suff as we can't say which one is -ve or +ve.
Stem2:
ab<0, meaning that b is negative. But a may be +ve or -ve. NOT SUFF.
1+2:
Still we are not sure whether a is +ve or -ve. NOT SUFF.
Answer is E.

Solution:
√[(3√80 +3/(9+4√5)]
=√[12√5 +27-12√5]
=√27
=3√3
Answer is 3√3.

Area of F+M = (pi)r^2
Area of M only = (r-s)^2pi
Area of the Frame =(pi)r^2 - (r-s)^2pi
=(pi)r^2 - {(r^2 - 2rs +s^2)pi}
=Pi (r^2 -r^2+2rs-s^2)
=(Pi)s(2r -s)
So, the answer is (pi)s(2r-s).
