Wow.. blast from the past! As I said a year and a half ago, before I scored 99th percentile on the gmat, the answer is unambiguously D. In case the old posts are enough of an explanation here it goes again: The set is going to be infinitely long and will continue increasing positively. Any number th...

What's the total number of groups possible? 10C3 (because there are ten total people): 10!/(7!*3!) = 120 But that includes all the cases where there are no senior partners... So let's figure out the number of cases where there are no senior partners.... 6C3 (because there are 6 junior partners) = 6!...

what pool am i in?
Hi there -
I'm a Canadian and Turkish citizen (grew up in Canada, Turkish by heritage), but am a US permanent resident (on the citizenship path as we speak) working in the US... I also went to college here.
What pool do I fit under? Will it make much of a difference?
Thanks!

I'm not complaining over any number of points... I'm complaining about feeling like i didn't do as well as i could have. If i felt like i done my best that day, I would be really pleased. I'm certainly not an academic and certainly not a perfectionist.. but I am competitive and like to perform at a ...

mgmat tests fall apart beyond a 750 score. they aren't able to reliably predict your score once you reach that mark.

nah - more likely that people are looking for excuses on why they didn't do as well as they expected. if everyone did as well as they wanted the mean score wouldn't be around 500. I felt so as well. I took the GMAT on the 18th of July. I scored a bit lower than I was expecting, but I know that this ...

I never said the extra 10 points would make a difference with regards to admissions... but i'm entitled to feel disappointed if i didn't think like I performed at my peak. Is there really much of a difference between and 760 and a 770? obviously not. at this entire post. The difference betwee...

I took it two days ago and didn't find anything noticeably different... particularly on the verbal side.
It doesn't make sense that things would change so dramatically as a result. Maybe you could argue that it would be a touch harder... but not so much so.

One potential explanation is that with the scoretop scandal, gmac might have immediately purged all live questions and replaced them with some that may not have been as fully tested as they usually are. But i'd think that it would just make the test feel a little looser.. not necessarily more diffic...
