Rate of work done by A in one day 10% Rate of work done by B in one day 6.67% Percentage work done together in 1 day 16.67% Total work done by them in 5 days 16.67 * 5= 83.35% Work left for C 100-83.35= 16.65% Total percentage work done by A= 50% Total percentage work done by B = 6.67*5= 33.35 % Tot...

Rate of work by A in one day = 100/20= 5% Rate of work by B in one day = 100/30= 3.33% A quit 10 days before the completion means last 10 days B worked alone or he did 3.33 * 10 = 33.33% Work done by A+B together = (100-33.33)=66.67% So number of days A and B worked together= 66.67/8.33= 8 days So t...

(a^2 + a + 1)/a= a+1/a + 1 Apply AM>=GM we get a+1/a > 2
Similarly for other expressions we get 3^5 = 243.

Let M be 6k1 + 1
and N be 6k2 + 3
So M+N shall be 6(k1+k2) + 4 or 6K + 4
Means the number M+N shall be multiple of 6 when 4 is subtracted from M+N
only 86 is the number above 86-4=82 not a multiple of 6.

Hi I think the signs have been reversed. The answer shall be x^2 > 2x > 1/x. There are many ways to attack this problem. One approach is if graphs of the 3 expressions are taken y=X^2(parabola) y=2x(straight line) y=1/x(hyperbola) The nature of the slopes shall be in decreasing order of the expressi...
