Hey, I had the same experience too when I took my GMAT on 11th July. I scored pretty okay in all my practice tests. But in the real test I got 25 and that pulled my score really low. I don't know if it is a coincidence for ll of us or the tests are really set that way. But I did get psyched with fir...

Took my GMAT today - Suggestions needed

Hi All, I took my GMAT today and got a score of 610 (49Q / 25V). I am not happy with this score at all. I have not scored 25 in verbal in any of my practice tests. It was always above 30. I don't know what went wrong during those 75 minutes. But it is over and I just want to think about what to do n...

C seems to weaken the argument by Management. The management is arguing that - when the pie was still growing, management could afford to acquiesce and until productivity increases, the management doesn't find any justification in increasing the compensation. So, we need to find a choice that will w...

Hi, I think A is the right assumption. Answer choice D has lot of information about Socialist party leaders that we have no information about. The logical gap between Socialist party winning the election and Ganelon will soon break away from the pro-American bloc is what we have to assume here. The ...

Hi, I think most of us will encounter this problem at one point. But, what I could see was that one option always has some deviation from the actual argument. Identifying this deviation in the incorrect choice will help us nail the right answer. For example, the main argument might talk about the sa...

Hi - There is a trap in (D) If you keenly notice, D states that equipping cars with air bags will not decrease number of car crashes but the argument talks about the safety of the cars. So, this is deviating from the actual argument. Choice E is correct in weakening the argument that cars without ai...

But E doesn't look correct either because the subject is "vocal tracts". So, "and were..." incorrectly refers to this.

I chose A but OA is 'B'. I can't understand how that can be correct because "ape's" doesn't have anything followed and hence, ambiguous.
