for the average you need to know x+y+z. neither statements by itself can't provide the value, and both together will lead to x+2y+z=12, not enough I suppose!

you should be looking for the element in 18th position.
there are nine 1s, four 2s etc..so on 18th position you have 6.

"rose" is a verb, so "did" is correct and not "were".

costs - plural ==> "they" is correct and not "it"(B ruled out)

Hi All, i will also go with A because it is using correct parallelism form 'that.....that..' b and C are incorrect because of wrong usage of 'which'. Thanks, could someone explain the difference of usage with "which" and "that" please. I want to nail the difference once for all!...
