hi,i am writing this post in utter dejection.what i thought would be my "how i beat the gmat" post is finally showing up as "how gmat beat me that too pretty hard" post.(please dont mind the grammatical mistakes as,at present, i am not very much inclined to write correct sentence...

Both C and E seem correct. However, I will select E over C basis wordiness. 'its paying' makes the option more wordy than option E. but what about E being a run-on sentene? I dont think it to be a run-on , can you explain the context behind the thought? i like apples , and oranges.. the above sente...

is the above statement correct...?
i have my apprehensions because i think 2nd part of the sentence is not an independent clause. so i think the rule " independent clause, and independent clause" doesn't work here..
