You should have a pretty basic understanding of where you will fall based on your practice tests...
if you are scoring in the 700's on practice tests, you are not going to drop a 450 on the test.... unless you freak out on tests... haha..

I am pretty sure that points are more valuable in quant than in verbal.... a 41 verbal is already in the 93 percentile, so going up to say a 45 (99th) is not that helpful compared to a 48 quant (85th) going to a 51 quant (99).. Just got back my AWA.. got a 5.5.....
I need to stop reading these forums.. They make me want to retake and try and get a 750... I know I can get my verbal up... It was 44-45 in all the practice tests...

interesting... I got a 710 with a 48 Q and 41 Verbal....
Usually a few points on the quant really brings down your score...

Beat, didn't destroy the GMAT 710(Q-48 , V- 41)
So, after all that drama that was Pearson calling me 17 hours before my test and telling me I couldn't take it, and then just going and taking it anyways, I got my 700 + score that I hope will make Adcoms forget my 3.0 GPA in psychology...(ouch)... I was hoping for a 720 (top 5%) but this will work....
