Hi David I took the first veritas simulator test today. I had a few observations if you can clarify. 1. Maths was much less convoluted than GMAT prep or MGMAT(As expected), but i saw the same concept being tested again and again. I had almost 4 Work/rate questions, which revolved around the same con...

Yes the way you have explained now it is absolutely clear! Thanks !
But isnt this language convoluted? or is it my lack of comprehension?
I have seen so many time that GMAT uses such language(in quant) ! I just hope i am able to comprehend them clearly on the G-day.
Thanks and regards again

So that means between 9:00 to 9:05 -> 30 tickets are sold ,and between 9:05 - 9:10 -> 30 tickets are sold. Now when you say that between 9:00 a...

Gerunds V/s Present Participle
I am still facing difficulty in differentiating the two, can someone please elaborate along with examples.
I know Gerunds are -ing noun forms, where as present participles are -ing adjective(or adverbial) forms.
Please elaborate !

Thanks for the quick reply Mike !
I keep on making such 'silly mistakes' going through question quickly ; i just assumed that 20 is a part of n2( and not the complete set itself) and instantly marked E.
Learned from this one ! thanks again

Gmat prep DS question
Its a very elementary problem , but i still find the wording of option 2 very confusing, how can the author assume n2= 20 , it could very easily mean that out of 20 of n2 20% are strawberries?

I have given 4 mocks till now and were in the range of 670-690. i tried veritas simulator test today and scored a measly 600. Really unsure of the algo they use to calculate score.
Also [;ease suggest which practice tests to take to practice quant and verbal individually.
