The purpose of GMAT is to test ones abilities to grasp new and complex concepts, which is required by business schools.
Mensa membership is yet another prove for such capabilities.
It is controversial why some of the admission comities react in a negative way on this matter.

Thanks Saffa,
I was wondering all the time why it is not n/(6+n) and I realized that than we would calculate the percentage of the whole saline solution instead the % of salt in the new solution which was required.
It explained 0.12n which was confusing me.

In the coordinate system are the points (r,s) and (u,v) equidistant from the origin?

The question asks the price of one DVD without tax.
Otherwise the information given on the included tax which is said to be 7% would be irrelevant. Support to this is that when you calculate the price before tax (66,34 : 1,07) you get a real number = 62 which is again divisible by 5 DVD's = 12,5
